Packing
Usually integrated with assembly, we are able to supply packaging ranging from custom, printed boxes through to fabricated timber transit containers
Packing and shipping prototypes is a daily occurrence, but as quantities start to rise it becomes necessary to look at alternative options.
Injection mouldings are usually shipped as ‘bulk packed’ or ‘individually packed’ depending on the finish. Clear or high gloss parts obviously require higher levels of part protection and whilst we try to minimise single use plastic, plastic bags still offer an efficient level of protection.
Running multiple bag sealing machines we are also able to kit components with screws or fasteners and print with barcodes for identification. This may be the final product ‘bag’ or a sub-kit that is subsequently incorporated into a larger assembly.
In some instances, more often when there is assembly involved as well, the parts will ship in a cardboard wrapper. This can be branded and incorporate QR codes, barcodes or text to identify/present the contents. When packed like this goods will often ship directly to the distribution warehouse.
