3D Printing goes eco friendly

3D Printed ‘Hempstone’ could revolutionalise the construction industry by replacing concrete as we know it.

3D Printed Hempcrete blockReducing worldwide CO2 emissions by 7-8% is no mean feat and no small claim, but Chad Knutsen from USA thinks he can. His hempcrete mixture, made from micronized lime and refined hemp fibers, is 3D printed into building blocks of differing sizes for use within the construction industry.
