Sintermask technology

Selective Mask sintering (SMS), the process offered by Sintermask, offers some significant benefits to those interested in both Rapid Prototyping and Rapid Manufacturing.

Working directly from the industry standard .stl file, the 3D CAD model is sliced and loaded onto the machine. Each layer is sintered by infrared lamps, through a mask created from the sliced CAD file.

Working at a speed of between 10 and 20 seconds per layer the process is independent of component cross section, resulting in a consistent build rate irrespective of machine loading.
