Materials Available for Laser Sintering of Plastic Parts

The machine vendors currently ship the majority of these materials, leading to some very similar properties under different names. For this reason they have been tabulated according to their type.

Most rely on a PA12 as the base material, although those offering better than average impact resistance are PA11 based.

In addition to these are fire retardant grades and fibre reinforced grades.
