My part is a simple 2D shape, is there an easier way?
We often talk about 'wicked geometries', complex parts etc and it can be easy to get lost in this complicated world. But let us not forget that sometimes the 'sun does shine' and our flexible component need is simple 2D geometry that can be profiled using water jet or laser technology from stock materials. Quoting require .dxf file format and an indication of the accuracy required, quantity and leadtime - usually around 5 days assuming material is readily available.
