What is the effect of quantity, if I only want 1 part or maybe 100 parts?
When faced with the options available it would only be natural to raise the question of the effect of quantity. Sometimes one will suffice, other times maybe 100 parts are needed and the effect of increasing quantities can be dramatic if the wrong process is selected. It is difficult to be precise as geometry will influence the break points, however as quantity increases the process is likely to move from Objet to SLS to PU to injection moulding, with degrees of overlap determined by other parameters.
