Can I have rubber, EPDM or Viton for example?
In a simple world only one material would be required for our flexible component needs. In the real world we often have requirements for materials as diverse as rubber, EPDM, Viton etc. In these instances we need a prototype tool, no RP process is going to help. Subject to some caveats relating to part complexity, prototype tooling for these materials can be online in 2 - 4 weeks with a capability of several 100 parts. Costs will exceed the prototyping options, so it is worth checking that the material requirement is real and not a 'nice to have'!
