Accessing a full complement of rapid prototyping (RP) technologies from Stereolithography (SLA) and Selective Laser Sintering (SLS) to the more conventional machining (CNC) and tooling technologies, Plunkett Associates will deliver your parts in your timescales.
Further, if the current commercially available technologies are not capable Plunkett Associates will identify alternatives, and seek ‘solutions from outside the box’. This has led to the development of a number of suppliers, not naturally associated with rapid prototyping, to address specific manufacturing issues.
Where research has led to the discovery of technologies, materials or processes that are not available in the UK, Plunkett Associates will seek to establish an exclusive agreement to represent the developer. A good example being the distribution agreement signed with Sintermask in 2007, to bring their high speed sintering process to the UK.
